Q:

I’ve been involved in an accident, what should I do?

A:

If your vehicle requires towing please call our 24hr towing service on 0407 597 079. If your vehicle is drivable please pop in at a time convenient for you. We can assist you with lodging your claim with your insurance provider and getting the repair process under way with the least amount of inconvenience to you.

Q:

Can I obtain a quote for the repairs to my vehicle over the phone?

A:

Unfortunately we do need to see your vehicle in person so we can view the full extent of the damages.

Q:

Do I need to make an appointment to receive a quote on my vehicle?

A:

An appointment for a quotation is not necessary. Pop in at a time convenient for you. We have an estimator on site Monday-Friday between 7:30am and 4:30pm who can provide you with a quote while you wait.

Q:

What should I bring in with me when I come in for a quote?

A:

If you intend to claim the accident through insurance please bring your insurance details and claim number with you.

Q:

What happens after I have received my quote?

A:

If you intend to go through insurance we send the quotation off to your insurance company on your behalf, who then assess your vehicle. Once we have authority to commence repairs we will contact you to book your vehicle in for repairs at a time that suits you.

Q:

How long will repairs to my vehicle take?

A:

Each and every job is different. When you bring your vehicle in for a quotation our Estimator will provide essential information to you such as when we are able to commence your repairs and approximately how long the repair process will take.

We will endeavor to complete the repair within the shortest possible time and estimated timeframe, however quality will not be compromised. If there are any unforeseen delays you will be notified immediately.

Q:

Do you guarantee the repairs to my vehicle?

A:

All repairs carried out by H Harvey Collision Repairs are fully guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle.

Q:

Do you have loan vehicles available?

A:

Yes we have loan vehicles available by appointment. There is an insurance levy charge of $25 per day. At times these vehicles can be heavily booked in advance. If you choose not to wait until the next vehicle becomes available we can refer you to our affiliated rental car company.

Q:

What payment methods do you accept?

A:

We accept major credit cards – Visa and Mastercard. We also accept payments via EFTPOS, cash and direct deposit (this need to be cleared prior to collection of your vehicle). Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.

Are you open on Saturdays?

A:

Yes, by appointment only.
